El Club de los Viernes, como Extensión Cultural de EnglishOn, se rige por una normativa destinada a garantizar un entorno seguro, educativo, cooperativo y respetuoso para todos los participantes.

BYLAWS FOR FRIDAYS’ CLUB (EL CLUB DE LOS VIERNES)
ARTICLE I: NAME & PURPOSE
Section A: Name – The name of this club shall be El Club de los Viernes (Fridays’ club).
Section B: Purpose – The purpose of this club shall be:
1. Raise leadership and thinking skills among its members.
2. Improve and practice the knowledge of English.
3. Raise awareness on how human societies work.
4. Have fun.
ARTICLE II: MEMBERSHIP & DUES
Section A: Eligibility - Membership shall be open to students of Academia EnglishOn.
ARTICLE III: OFFICERS
Section A: Officers – The officers shall be a President, Vice-President, and a Secretary-Treasurer.
Section B: Eligibility – Officers must be full members of the Club. The Secretary-Treasurer shall be the head of Academia English On as a natural officer.
Section C: Election – The officers, except the Secretary-Treasurer, shall be elected by a ballot at the first meeting of the course by a majority of the vote cast for that office.
Section D: Term – The officers shall serve for one academic course. The Secretary-Treasurer may call for a ballot for a new President or Vice-president at any moment of the term.
Section E: Vacancy – If a vacancy occurs in the office of President, the Vice-President shall assume the office for the remainder of the term and vacancies in any other office shall be filled by a special election.
ARTICLE IV: DUTIES OF OFFICERS
Section A: President – it shall be the duty of the President to:
Preside at meetings
Represent the club
Serve as an ex-officio member of all committees.
Perform such other duties as ordinarily pertain to this office
Section B: Vice-President – It shall be the duty of the Vice-President to:
Preside in the absence of the President
Section C: Secretary - Treasurer – It shall be the duty of the Secretary-Treasurer to:
Record the minutes of all meetings
Receive all funds and process Request for Payment.
Keep a file of the club’s records
Maintain a current roster of membership
Issue notices of meetings and conduct the general correspondence of the club
Vote only in case of a tie
Represent the club
Set the dues for each course.
The Secretary-Treasurer shall permanently be the Director of Academia EnglishOn or a person expressly designated by the Academy.
ARTICLE V: MEETINGS
Section A: Meetings – Regular meetings shall be held three Fridays a month during the regular school year.
Section B: Special Meeting – Special meetings may be called by the President or the Secretary-Treasurer.
Section C: Quorum – A quorum shall consist of ¼ of the membership
Section D: Parliamentary Authority – Robert’s Rules of Orders, shall govern this club in all cases to which they are applicable and in which they are not inconsistent with these bylaws.
Section E: The meetings will take place in Academia English On Centro.
ARTICLE VI: EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Section A: Responsibility – Management of this club shall be vested in an Executive Committee responsible to the entire membership to uphold these bylaws.
Section B: Membership – This committee shall consist of the officers as listed in Article III.

ESTATUTOS DEL CLUB DE LOS VIERNES (FRIDAYS’ CLUB)
ARTÍCULO I: NOMBRE Y FINALIDAD
Sección A: Nombre
El nombre de este club será El Club de los Viernes (Fridays’ Club).
Sección B: Finalidad
La finalidad de este club será:
Fomentar las habilidades de liderazgo y pensamiento entre sus miembros.
Mejorar y practicar el conocimiento del idioma inglés.
Aumentar la conciencia sobre cómo funcionan las sociedades humanas.
Divertirse.
ARTÍCULO II: MEMBRESÍA Y CUOTAS
Sección A: Elegibilidad
La membresía estará abierta a los alumnos de Academia EnglishOn.
ARTÍCULO III: CARGOS
Sección A: Cargos
Los cargos del club serán: Presidente, Vicepresidente y Secretario-Tesorero.
Sección B: Elegibilidad
Los cargos deberán ser ocupados por miembros de pleno derecho del Club.
El Secretario-Tesorero será el director de Academia EnglishOn como cargo natural.
Sección C: Elección
Los cargos, excepto el de Secretario-Tesorero, serán elegidos mediante votación en la primera reunión del curso por mayoría de los votos emitidos para dicho cargo.
Sección D: Duración del mandato
Los cargos ejercerán durante un curso académico.
El Secretario-Tesorero podrá convocar una votación para un nuevo Presidente o Vicepresidente en cualquier momento del mandato.
Sección E: Vacantes
Si se produce una vacante en el cargo de Presidente, el Vicepresidente asumirá el cargo durante el resto del mandato, y las vacantes en cualquier otro cargo se cubrirán mediante una elección especial.
ARTÍCULO IV: FUNCIONES DE LOS CARGOS
Sección A: Presidente
Será función del Presidente:
Presidir las reuniones.
Representar al club.
Actuar como miembro ex officio de todos los comités.
Desempeñar aquellas otras funciones que ordinariamente correspondan a este cargo.
Sección B: Vicepresidente
Será función del Vicepresidente:
Presidir en ausencia del Presidente.
Sección C: Secretario-Tesorero
Será función del Secretario-Tesorero:
Levantar acta de todas las reuniones.
Recibir todos los fondos y tramitar las solicitudes de pago.
Mantener un archivo de los registros del club.
Mantener actualizado el registro de miembros.
Emitir los avisos de las reuniones y llevar la correspondencia general del club.
Votar únicamente en caso de empate.
Representar al club.
Fijar las cuotas de cada curso.
El Secretario-Tesorero será permanentemente el Director de Academia EnglishOn o una persona designada expresamente por la Academia.
ARTÍCULO V: REUNIONES
Sección A: Reuniones
Las reuniones ordinarias se celebrarán tres viernes al mes durante el curso escolar.
Sección B: Reuniones extraordinarias
Las reuniones extraordinarias podrán ser convocadas por el Presidente o el Secretario-Tesorero.
Sección C: Quórum
El quórum estará constituido por ¼ de los miembros.
Sección D: Autoridad parlamentaria
Las Reglas de Orden de Robert (Robert’s Rules of Order) regirán este club en todos los casos en los que sean aplicables y en los que no sean incompatibles con estos estatutos.
Sección E: Lugar
Las reuniones tendrán lugar en Academia EnglishOn Centro.
ARTÍCULO VI: COMITÉ EJECUTIVO
Sección A: Responsabilidad
La gestión de este club recaerá en un Comité Ejecutivo, responsable ante la totalidad de los miembros del cumplimiento de estos estatutos.
Sección B: Composición
Este Comité estará formado por los cargos enumerados en el Artículo III.
